I cannot get the radio to talk to the computer
The most likely problem areas are
1) the COM port number is not correct. See the section Connection to the radio.
2) there is a cabling problem between the receiver and computer. Check there is no physical damage to the cable.
3) you are running a PDA hotsync program that has acquired all of the COM ports. Stop the program and try again.
4) you have a USB programming cable but have not installed the software driver. See the section Connection to the radio.
